How to get started with Windows 10 versions of Flyover Zone’s applications
Flyover Zone takes advantage of Steam’s multiplatform support (Windows, Mac, and virtual reality devices) to host our applications. One issue with distributing our applications with Steam is highlighted when our customers discover they need a Steam account and to download the client to their computer before they can act and experience the application.
To simply this process, this article will provide quick step by step instructions on how to setup everything you will need to use Windows 10 versions of our applications on your personal desktop or computer.

1. How to download the Steam client
- Please navigate to Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/about/
- In the middle of the page you will see an “Install Steam” button
- Click this button
- Run the executable that Steam downloads onto your computer and install Steam by following the prompts is presents to you.
- Steam should now be installed!
2. How to create a Steam Account
- When you first launch Steam it will prompt you to log in
- When you first launch Steam it will prompt you to log in
- If you have an account, log in. If you do not have an account, click “Create a new account…”
- You will be prompted to create a new account. Please fill in all the fields.
- You should now have a Steam account.
- Please log into your Steam account on the Steam application if you have not already.
- To purchase and download Flyover Zone applications
- Click the “Store” tab in Steam
- Search “Flyover Zone” in the search bar
- All of our applications will be displayed based on your search preferences
- Select an application and click the green “Add to Cart” button
- Continue the purchase process by following the next screens
- You should now be prompted to download the application.
- You can find all of your applications in the “Library” tab
