COMING SOON

Egypt Reborn is a series of teletours each of which presents a specific monument such as Karnak, Luxor Temple, and the Great Pyramid of Giza. Whether you are preparing for a trip down the Nile, returning from one, or unable to take your pilgrimage to this cradle of civilization, you will find the teletours of Egypt Reborn an invaluable way to see the sights and listen to authoritative commentary about them.

The next teletour in this series will present the tomb of Ramesses VI in the Valley of the Kings. Originally prepared for the burial of Ramesses V, it was reconfigured for Ramesses VI, the fifth pharaoh of the Twentieth Dynasty. He reigned for eight years during the third quarter of the twelfth century BCE. This tomb is well-preserved and is decorated with stunning wall decorations which include the complete Book of the Dead and the Book of Caverns.

This teletour, which lasts about 90 minutes, features commentary co-authored by Egypt Reborn Director H. Hamed and Chief Scientific Advisor M. Abu Okeil, the Chair of our Scientific Advisory Committee.
