Explore our collection
Our unique virtual museum contains nearly 1,000 3D models created by Flyover Zone. Each presents a great work of classical Greek and Roman sculpture. There is also a gallery devoted to the collection of Roman furniture which we have recreated. In time, we plan to add other galleries presenting art from other periods and cultures.

Our museum can be explored in two ways. If you are looking for a specific object, use the search box to see if it is in one of our collections. You might, for example, search on its name or on the inventory number of the museum that owns it.
Alternatively, if you are interested in a specific culture or period, pass your cursor over the floor plan to see the museum’s different galleries. The dark blue indicates the galleries devoted to different phases or topics in Greek art. The light blue covers our Roman galleries. (Yes, our floor plan pays homage to the first building ever designed to be a museum, Karl Friedrich Schinkel’s Altes Museum in Berlin.)
As your finger or mouse touches a gallery on the floor plan, its label pops up. If you wish to visit it, click on the View button. You will be taken to the gallery, where you can see all the objects we have placed here. They are arranged alphabetically by format (formats include, for example, Bust, Herm, Relief, Statue, Statue Group). Within each format, the individual pieces are also arranged alphabetically by their name. Click on the object you wish to examine. This opens a page giving you metadata (Name, Format, Museum, etc.) about the object as well as a small image of the object itself. If you click on the image, you will see that it can be rotated and that you can zoom in or out on it. In the lower right corner is an expand icon. If you click on it, the view fills your screen. You can also change the lighting on an object. For example, if you are using a three-button mouse with Windows, hold down the ALT key, right click, and move the mouse. If you are using a mobile device, put the three middle fingers of one of your hands onto the screen and slowly move them around.
The museum is constantly growing, so please put a reminder on your calendar to come back every few weeks to see our new acquisitions.
